 Automatic Printing of Reports in Rees Workstation Software

 

Objective:

To provide step-by-step instructions for setting up and using the automatic printing feature for daily reports in the Rees Workstation Software.

Pre-requisites:

  • Ensure the desired printer is set up and installed on the workstation.

 

Procedure:

  1. Accessing the Reports/Graphs Tab:
    • Open the Rees Workstation Software.
    • Navigate to and select the Reports/Graphs tab. A screenshot of a computer

  1. Selecting the Desired Daily Report:
    • Choose the specific daily report you want to configure for automatic printing.

  1. Activating the Report Window:
    • Click on the reports split-window tab to activate the report window. A screen shot of a computer

  2. Configuring Automatic Printing:
    • In the activated report window, click the Automatic Printing button located on the ribbon bar. A screenshot of a computer

    • A configuration window for automatic printing will appear.
  3. Setting Up Automatic Printing:
    • In the Automatic Printing options window, configure the settings as needed. This may include selecting the report format, schedule, and any specific printer settings. A screenshot of a computer screen

    • Once configuration is complete, click OK to apply the settings.


 

 

Guidelines:

  • Do Not Close the Split Window:
    • Do not close the split window of the automated report. A warning will appear if you attempt to close this window.
  • Do Not Close the Rees Workstation Software or Computer:
    • Ensure the Rees Workstation Software and the computer remain powered on and operational for automatic printing to function.
  • Activate Window:
    • Options for the inactive window will appear greyed out in the ribbon bar.
  • Maximizing Node Window:
    • To maximize the node window, you can hide the automated report window by clicking and holding the report tab, then dragging it to the left side of the screen and dropping it in the node tab area.
  • Multiple Reports:
    • You can have multiple automatic report windows open simultaneously. Each will print according to its configured schedule.
  • User Access:
    • Automatic reports will only include inputs that the user who creates the report has access to.
